Waking up, by far, is the hardest part of the day.
An alarm goes off, and you wonder where the obnoxious sound is coming from.
A slap of realization comes to you, “it’s time to get up”.
However, your body does not want to compromise with what your mind is saying.
Your body is telling you to stay in your soft warm blankets, but your mind is saying “just 5 more minutes, it won’t kill you”.
These 5 minutes will soon turn into 1 hour.
Now you have to get up or you’ll be late…
A battle of right and wrong feelings arise as you prepare yourself before leaving.
“how did this happen? why did i go back to sleep?”
Then, you make an empty promise to yourself that made things better.
“i will never this again.”
A start to a beautiful day.
